Refinish 710 AP2

Just curious if anyone has ever gotten 710 AP1 or AP2's refinished? I have a set of AP2's that is perfectly dialed to my game and I couldn't imagine getting rid of them. the problem is that they look like crap. They have over 200 rounds on them and are showing some wear. Has anyone ever found a place to successfully refinish them? I know tungsten tends to cause problems but I am just curious if anyone has done it.

Spare me the cost vs. new set speech. I understand that these are older models but I like them and want them to look good.

I have seen pictures from Chop Shop and some others that have done some really nice AP2 irons. I plan on having my AP2/MB combo set refinished and left raw by the iron factory.

Have you checked the Iron Factory?? The refiniced a set of irons for me and did a Great job

Talked to Jim - he cannot refinish any iron that contains tungsten.

Tiger Nick quoted me to refinish my 712 AP2. They are out of OH and sell a lot of stuff on eBay. They tend to do black chrome and black oxide. We discussed a two tone approach and he had pictures of a GW he did of an AP2.

Tiger Nick can do it. Talked to him a few days ago about doing my combo set in satin black chrome. The pictures of that finish look amazing.

I had tigernick do some work on my irons (Wilson Staff combo set 3-5 FG Tours, and 6-PW of FG 62) and my wedges in a black satin and they came out fantastic!!! They look great, and feel great. If you like your irons/wedges send them to him, the work is outstanding, and no one will have anything like your bag. First rate work!!
