Cart ahead of the horse on that one. He's certainly had two impressive showings in back to back events but he's been lackluster prior. Plus missing the cut over 40% in 2025. He's on the watch list with a lot more to prove.

So you're knocking him because his life values differ from yours? Seems whack but you're entitled to your opinion. He's quite forthright interviewing and answering questions. It's a breath of fresh air compared to the canned answers we hear from 90+% of the other guys. He does acknowledge the gallery. I've seen it personally. He's just not extremely demonstrative but to say he doesn't acknowledge people is just plain wrong.

Parking lot duty, even worse at an off-site shuttle lot, is my fear as well and why I wouldn't do it. My friends from private clubs have done it and they work inside the ropes. That would be totally worth it.

It's called bartering. In turn for volunteering ~20 hours at next year's US Open the volunteers get a ticket package worth about $1,200. That's $60/hour. I wouldn't do it but I can see how it's a good value proposition for many.

Here's a hypothetical for Phil. What if Phil didn't gamble away his fortune and get into financial trouble, call his new owners scary #!*! and flush his legacy down the toilet? Would he still own his G4, be playing on the pga tour and/or champions tour and still have all that endorsement money flowing in? Something to think about Phil.

Fowler is smart enough to know his name, brand and personality will be good for a lifetime bankroll. He's got many great options outside of golf. If he went to liv he'd have a taint for the rest of his career. He won't flush all that for a short term payoff of LIV.
