I've been a dedicated ProV player for over 10 years. I have switched back and forth between the V1 and V1X--Just like they have switched! But having played the V1 for the past two models, I can honestly say the 2025 model is the first time I have noticed an appreciable difference in distance. By all accounts in my LM and GPS measuring the 2025 V1 is at least 5 to 7 yards longer off the tee, without sacrificing any of the short game performance that made it my preferred ball to begin with.
I agree with you on the ease of the 150. I was fit into the 250, even though I hit the 150 well, at 66 I just don't have enough speed, and needed to get more than 119 yards out of my 7 iron 🙂 But the contact and flight were very good.
Good points.
We bought 500 or them to use exclusively when Titleist comes for their club fittings. While they aren’t tour quality balls. As yoi mentioned they are much better rhan the typical.$5.00 a dozen range balls. They give more accurate flight data.
We bought them in yellow so they can easily be sorted from the range picker.
Kudos to uour fitter for not tryimg to spin the numbers to make a sale.
But i will say when the time does cole the current ZXi 4 are terrific in evey way.
I’ve done two sell’s to them. One online where i shipped the clubs and got the check within 3 weeks. Then one in store sale (maryland) and had the check within 2 weeks.
No complaints on either one.
