  1. All I’m saying is that both sides have a point. you get *****s on either ends. League guys being part of a league of morons and semi private members thinking they are part of Augusta National and unfortunately that’s life. Being a member of this course is still valuable to me despite not being able to play “whenever” I want. I play league at a private course every other Thursday that costs 50k just to walk through the door non equity. Not millions, but not cheap either and every member hates on us, and course is doing fine, but only reason why they do it is to get more members and these inflated rates (used to be 15k a few years ago). every single person playing golf and not just golf paying for a service is entitled to some degree. You expect a service you paid a price for. someone paying $50 for league, 8k for a senior private membership, 300 for a hotel or 200k for exclusive membership. My membership was 4200 a few years ago and now it’s 8k. At 4200 not being able to play twice a week was totally fine with me but at 8k and not being able to play 4 times a week becomes totally different math. Nobody wants to be inconvenienced, but you have people who don’t tolerate anything that isn’t up to their standards, “Karens”. While I don’t agree with it, but I always put myself in their shoes of why they feel that way.
  2. Isn’t that the point of a membership? Being able to go out and play any given time ?
  3. Telling someone to eff or saying they can’t play 4 of the 7 evenings per week is kind of the same thing. i haven’t read it and nor do i need to read it I know what it says. “They can do whatever they want”. It’s not just semi private courses either. My buddy of mine is a member at fully private course and they do the same thing for “charity” tournaments. Would I snap or get mad at someone playing in a league and make their life miserable? Absolutely not, not the point I’m making, but same people playing the league getting upset is equivalent to a member getting mad. They both paid to play. One 50ish for the league and one 8000 for the membership. So it goes both ways. of course a semi private course is gonna take 2000 for the afternoon block when only 5-10 people will go out and play, it’s simple economics, but everyone needs to understand thats what you are signing up for to play at non exclusive courses.
  4. Might not get brownie points here and, but im a member at a semi private course, and they raise prices yearly. Every year they had 1-2 days of that type of league. This year they have 4, Monday through Thursday. As a member im told to eff off and take a hike. How would you feel being a member paying dues and be told to eff off. Yes some members are as you call them “entitled”, but some like myself work very hard to earn a living and be able to pay for the yearly membership to enjoy the membership perks.
  5. Nah everyone is shooting 60s with these a few more weeks till the honeymoon period wears off 🙂
  6. Just tried them again and this is the shaft im going with. I was in between PX red and this and this won it on the feel side.
  7. Thats the first thing I do when get any new club. I have an old 54 degree wedge that’s been validated on multiple machines that it’s 54. I always have them check that first and reference off that. I had VERY reputable fitters not calibrate the digital Mitchel machine and it be off by as much as 2 degrees.
  8. Haven’t read all replies, so not sure if anyone has suggested this, but did you check them side by side on the same machine same time? I had vokey wedges be off by as much as 2-3 degrees, so you thinking you are 1 degree apart might be 3-4. On centered strikes i do not lose any distance at all, on off centered strikes I lost 1-2 yards max not more than that.
  9. Anyone wants to get rid of that AMT silvers yet?
  10. Yes the MOI is now on the heel side because they had to carve out the 45 on the toe side 🙂.
  11. I know nobody seems to have anything on it, Im a little slower than you im at 85-86ish with my 7i and it was really good. On titleist website there seems to be a typo about the specs. It says the following. 1. The regular and XS are reversed on the weight, but also for the S (not sure about the X) the starting weight is at 101 not 103.
  12. Correct, it’s actually a perfect blend between the black and the white and the og feel. At least to me. I always found the white a little too heavy and stiff. Black too light and a little loose. This one felt perfect.
  13. In weight progression yes, but nowhere near the feel.
  14. The label is new the rest is the same.
  15. Tried it today, I currently have io 6.0 which is now discontinued. I played amt whites (the og ones from the 716 days) then the amt blacks. with the io being discontinued the px red is the “replacement” which I didn’t love the feel of. And like most people mentioned above the blacks felt too soft while the whites were a bit harsh. Well these are perfect. Found them to be very smooth without them feeling loose.
  16. Nah it will make your dreams come true
  17. Interesting, but they probably could’ve worked out a deal behind closed doors and just announce it live. Would make a better story that’s all.
  18. Rules are rules, should have just said he is giving the invite to some other player of his choosing, could've been a bigger story. Now my question, hypothetically I win 100s of millions and want to stage a 4 men tournament for let's say 5 million and broadcast it on YouTube and want to invite Rory Scottie Bryson Xander, will PGA allow them to participate?
  19. Standard lofts I found it to be spinning less and launching about the same. Loft for loft (both at 34), no idea why, but T150 was spinning more and launching more (launch was to be expected), but spin surprised me a bit since it was spinning a bit less at the standard 1 degree apart. Maybe to do with the offset and bounce, not sure. As others have mentioned, forgiveness isn't much different, in fact T100 might be more or less forgiving depending on how you interact with the ground. But off a peg I did find the 150 to be more consistent on the distance.
  20. Love watching all these fitting videos and this is general consensus, we made the lofts stronger because there was demand, but we created this new fitting hosel to make it 1 or 2 degrees weaker because it goes higher for you.
  21. So no idea about how the new ones are on firm turf, but the last gen 150s are terrible compared to 100s from before.
  22. What conditions do you play in
  23. Idea behind this makes a lot of sense, and I really wanna try the silvers as I find whites too heavy and blacks too light, but third party fitters don’t seem to fit into it that often, (if they have these in the matrix at all?) very little tour use. So not sure if the performance isn’t there (which I don’t believe is the case), but just not enough voices pushing this idea. We do this in driver and fairways so why not in irons? Also as someone else mentioned Titleist probably believes in this and have really good pricing on them from true temper.
