I didn’t want to wait for the what seems like long wait times so I bought a GT2 13.5 today lol. If I end up hitting it like 10’ off the ground I’ll order the GT1. Just buy it if you can wait for the shipping time.

I was set on getting an elyte Ti or two but then comparing them to the Qi35’s, they are pretty small heads. Might be the same issue with the TD’s but I’ll take a look. The Qi just has a very inspiring look. Not too big, not too small. The ZXi’s do look good. When I was testing drivers I liked it a lot. Just sat very open which was the only con for me. But that was just the driver.

Yea I’m thinking just going core 5 wood and 7 wood. 5 wood turned down to be like a 4 wood. Just hoping the core 7 wood isn’t too closed since it’s bonded. Maybe could send it somewhere to be bent if it is.

Yea I wouldn’t do the tour head in anything but the 7. The core 7 is not adjustable and out of stock through TM for like a month. The tour 7 is also out of stock if I was going to order something custom. The core 5 wood looks very good to me as well and I couldn’t decide what I liked the look of better between it and the tour 7 wood. The core 5 wood had a hzrds black that I think would be good for me and I’d turn that down to 16.5 or 17.25 degrees. Ideally, yea I’d probably want an 80 class weight shaft in the tour 7 wood, but I’m probably going to be reshafting everything as I’m in stiff shafts and swinging a lot faster now.

Yea I figured with the adjustment on the weight I could find a setting to make it work. It also looks a little closed stock so figured I could loft it down slightly and still have a square look without being too open. They had like 3 in stock. Forget what the other 2 shafts are but 1 had a tensei 1k black stiff which matches my driver shaft.

I need some woods/hybrids and was messing around at the shop and surprised by how good the Qi35 tour 7 wood looks. Doesn’t look small for a tour head and just looks like I could hit it well. For those that have them, what do you think of them? How hard are they to hit over the core or other models? I tested a g440 7 wood and even with a low launch shaft I hit it way too high. Swing speed is kinda high at 115mph with a driver but don’t always hit the center of the face. Don’t have issues with launching or getting spin on anything. I want it to be good off the deck but also good for a shorter tee club. That’s one issue I’ve had with Ping fairways. I tend to hit them too high on the face so looking for something a little deeper.

Kinda hard to not hit Ping woods well. Only thing is sometimes I hit them a little high on the face.

I’m seeing close to half that upcharge just on the one site I looked at.

I think these were talked about a while ago. Bryson is trying to do something completely new with irons. Can’t quite remember what it was lol but it was interesting.

that’s odd because the Ti is supposed to be the lowest spinning, even more so than the triple diamond.

Don’t have it yet but for $135 in very good condition from Callaway pre owned figured this was worth a try.

There’s probably logistic and manufacturing issues with doing that. But I bet the biggest reason is a lot of people will run out and buy the S1 and S3 even though they shouldn’t. Then, when they realize they can’t play them and the more forgiving option comes out they’ll end up buying those too.

The 21 Apex is still great looking. I’m about to grab one off Callaway preowned. Hoping I can find weights if I switch the shaft.

Good question and I can’t answer it but my understanding is Titleist developed this to battle Taylormade because so many Titleist staffers were gaming Qi10 fairways when they developed this and they wanted to stop some of that. I’m guessing you are good with the qi10 and wouldn’t see much benefit if you are happy with that club.

Was on the website looking to order one and they only have 17 and 19 degree heads and no customization available. Any talk of a replacement coming?

So a couple weeks ago I was out for a round. Tee box on the first hole so first shot of the day and in my backswing on my left hand (right handed) I feel a pop and sharp pain. Couldn’t do a thing with my hand, swelled up twice the size. Been to the orthopedic doc a couple times since, got a torridol and steroid shot, and have been wearing a brace. Today they determined it’s a muscle tear along my pinkie, ring finger area and they gave me a script for an anti inflammatory. Question is, if anyone has had anything similar happen did you find anything else that helped speed up recovery? I’m itching to get back to it since it’s prime time in the season and a course across the street is almost done with their 10 outdoor trackman hitting bays I plan on living at.

TM and Titleist have good adjustability for picking the weights you want when you order from them. TM is especially nice because as you adjust shafts and lengths, it’ll automatically adjust the weights and show you what they are. So if you want it heavier just up it a bit.

I know you posted this a while ago but are you happy with the CB’s over the MC’s? I have the MC’s and when I’m on they are awesome but I definitely have misses. I’m also swinging a lot faster then when I got them and distance isn’t a problem and the KBS 120S is a little soft. Love that you can get the 125 S+ with TM and only other manufacturer I’ve seen offer that is Titleist with their wedges only. They’re also a little short for me. Either want to order a set of CB’s with like a p770 4 iron or rebuild my MC’s with stiffer and longer shafts. I like the MC 4 iron when I’m on and swing it 98-99mph and carry it 225 with 105-110 peak height. But a miss with it is rough and figured the p770 would be night and day.

Did you notice it opened up the face? The qi35s look really good to me except they all look really closed, even the tour is a bit closed looking.

Yea, that is cool. I didn’t realize there would be different sole types. I figured they were all pretty much the same if they had the tri sole so that’s cool to see.
