  1. Somebody said on another topic it wouldnt be til next year. Any idea how soon?
  2. website says 370g head weight. I wish this had some adjustable weights
  3. Right. Just prolonging the life of the club. Even if we are still only gonna keep it one season and then buy whatever is new and shiny lol
  4. Hard to say. But also possible they could effect each other. For example if your trying to compensate for less handsy swing with swing path do you think that could cause your body to compensate in other ways too? Your body is subconsciously trying to compensate for what's happening with the grip and the fat shot which could cause all kinds of changes. All together they could cause you to change your weighting without even realizing it causing a fat. It could cause any number of things but its like a chain reaction.
  5. Its interesting too cause if it is a swing fault its probably a more easily repeatable swing once that hand action is taken out of it. But at the same time if thats something you have been used to doing for years trying to rework that would feel like a step in the wrong direction for so long that is it even worth it at that point.
  6. Im considering a possible combo set. Mainly just in keeping my ai200 4 iron. They blend pretty well together? I think them releasing the x star forged at the same time takes some of the hype from these too. So much going on in so little time.
  7. Definitely! I feel like grips effect everything. It could be possibly that the bigger grip even makes it a little more difficult to be handsy. Its funny how some small changes can effect so many different things.
  8. I havnt had experience with it specifically causing me to hit it fat but anything that changes your grip could definitely have an impact and its different from person to person. Especially if you have 1 full swing club that you grip differently due to a different size grip that could have an impact on your setup and/or swing with that club and even cause tendencies when switching to another club.
  9. Fingers crossed that comes out this year. Have to test that compared to my ai200 4 iron and the ai smoke heaven wood. something probably comes out of the bag for an apex uw. Or both and add back in another wedge.
  10. Idk. I still like blue over green lol. But neither one is as bad as the camo version
  11. Well, sorry. Looks like i spoke too soon. They are greedier than i thought
  12. Be careful with the h4. Maybe put a little rubber band around it or something. I have had the unit itself fall out of the belt clip but found it. I noticed before i walked off the green. I decided to get rid of it cause i couldnt remember to tap the sensors every time.
  13. i got the shotscope H4 and it hasnt worked out for me. It works fine. But remembering to tap the sensor on the club to the unit on my belt has been the issue for me. Its definitely a me problem not a shot scope problem though.
  14. They need to give you a free subscription for life for that lol
  15. It will definitely work without the subscription. It even advertises an external tournament mode toggle switch to turn off the adjusted yardages for competitive use.
  16. Last i saw someone post under another topic that there wasnt anything scheduled for a UW release. I cant find which it was in but it was one of the topics for the new callaway irons.
  17. I wonder how bad of a color they can choose for next years driver. Can they make it worse than this years green? I mean its probably possible but they would really have to try.
  18. Right lol. Also depends if you got your current clubs used or not. I got my ai200's for 700$ off ebay. 1200$ trade in is making it really difficult not to get the new ai 150.
  19. This is WRX. The answer is its always worth upgrading. If you have the coin take advantage of that 2X trade in hahaha
  20. I doubt it. From what i understand and i could be wrong here so I'm sure someone will correct this but the majority of the ai design is in the face thickness and what Callaway calls control points in the face. Basically thousands of tiny spots in the face in different thicknesses to create the forgiveness and launch characteristics they are looking for. Most of the club is still designed by the R&D department at Callaway with help from ai for the ai10x face.
