  1. I don’t think so. He’s entitled to dig in to take his stance.
  2. “However, in such situations, the player may not, in a single procedure, concurrently take relief from two conditions by dropping a ball in a single relief area determined by a combined nearest point of complete relief from both conditions, except in the situation where the player has successively taken relief for interference from each condition and is essentially back where the player started.”
  3. To feel what I'm talking about yes. Not to play golf.
  4. The more ulnar the easier it generally is to roll the forearms, as the arms/shaft form a straighter line. Hinge the club up to 90° to the forearms and try to roll the forearms — you'll see how much "tougher" it is to do so.
  5. Yup. 17.2b. b. When Ball Played from Penalty Area Is Lost, Out of Bounds or Unplayable Outside Penalty Area After playing a ball from a penalty area, a player may sometimes be required or choose to take stroke-and-distance relief because the original ball is either: Out of bounds or lost outside the penalty area (see Rule 18.2), or Unplayable outside the penalty area (see Rule 19.2a). If the player takes stroke-and-distance relief by dropping a ball in the penalty area (see Rule 14.6) and then decides not to play the dropped ball from where it comes to rest: The player may take further relief outside the penalty area under Rule 17.1d(2) or (3) (for a red penalty area) or under Rule 17.2a(2). If the player does so, they get one more penalty stroke, for a total of two penalty strokes: one stroke for taking stroke-and-distance relief, and one stroke for taking relief outside the penalty area. The player may directly take such relief outside the penalty area without first dropping a ball in the penalty area, but still gets a total of two penalty strokes.
  6. If you're a righty, and your path is left, then they're either pull-draws or gear effect draws or something is off. The Quad is a tremendous tool. I'd recommend spending some time learning how to use it, what the numbers truly mean, how they translate to the ball flight, etc.
  7. The ball flight laws… Ball starts mostly where the face is pointing, curves away from the path (relative to the start line).
  8. --- Harrington's stuff is good. There are a bunch of channels with overall good content, but of course, as with anything… the right or good info that doesn't apply to a golfer at the time they're seeing it and trying to implement it may have a negative effect. There are plenty of good videos out there that would make certain players worse. Not because the video is bad, but because it's not what that golfer needs at that time.
