  1. Just like any other club, remove grip, insert extension. With a putter you dont even really need to epoxy the extension in, can just leave it loose in case you want to remove later.
  2. Id agree with most the other posts. The path to getting better is making less bogeys. What is the cause of most of the bogeys? Putting doesnt seem like a weakness to me, with the number of putts per round. Yea 1/13 from inside 12 inst great but ideally you get that to 3-4/12 so you only are talking about 2-3 shots over four rounds.
  3. T100s are no harder to hit unless you just need extra ball speed in mid irons. You could also bend the 150s weak.
  4. Lab would tell you get it balanced with a standard grip. Removing a press grip and installing your own MAY throw off the balance. Interesting note, the CB versions have no shaft lean AND no press grip. Id image more loft may be desired on the setups if you like your heads at or ahead of face.
  5. Thats exactly my setup, and why I like it, i go mini, then 16.5 but turned up. I feel like you can turn the loft up on these and they do a pretty good job of not shutting the face.
  6. For most ams, Id say 10 hdc and up, speed control is probably paramount. Eliminate 3 putts should be priority number one. As far as the “corrective torque”, thats a tricky one, because a true ZERO torque putter would have no resistance if a player open or closes the face. The head would feel “lost”. Ive seen the claims that this is what the corrective torque is for, but Im not really buying that. I do think its more of a function of keeping it square in the revealer, or square throughout the arc. Its slightly heel side of center in terms of COG, and keep in mind gravity is another force pulled down on the head. I think this method helps counter gravity forces without introducing other torques (like a change in direction, transition backstroke-forward stroke) that typically an out of center cog would create.
  7. There are multiple facets to this in my opinion. The obvious one is tour usage/visability. Vs mizuno or Wilson, they do have more usage. They may even have more usage than Cobra. If they can continue the trend with more players/wins, it will only help. As far as performance goes…. There isnt much in it in ANY of the of the OEMs when it comes to center faced contact and distance. The ever so slight gains one might see over another is spin consistency with mishits. Thats where I think maybe some of the smaller brands are slightly lacking. The last factor is resale. They just dont hold value at all. For the portion of gear junkies who just buy stuff on a whim and not really get fitted, this is definitely a factor.
  8. I really think its just going to be the rest of the 2xx line. This is direct replacement for 241. The s3 was for the jpx tour. Likely s2 will be the 243 replacement, s4 -245
  9. Huh? All that has already done for you… its just for discussion on what likely happen if they played over and over again.
  10. Not about betting but more just about perspective on probabilities.
  11. What are you in disagreement about? That it’s statistically insignificant? Let me provide example to clarify. Rounds of 70,71,72x4, 73, 74 make up the eight round average of 72. Technically, the cap was only “hit” his cap 20%, but hit it or better “30%. The reason its insignificant is because the 73 and 74 would only beat about roughly 30-40 percent of the field in my example, however the 70 and 71 would beat 60-65% of the field in a one round snapshot. It all generally averages out. Even a cap who is more volatile, with a higher score in his 8 has something like a 77, would likely have a low score to balance it out, like a 68, or 69. So calculating the odds, an average is sufficient enough to get a reasonable estimate.
  12. A handicap is established by averaging their top 8 of last 20 scores. So while they technically may not “hit” their cap 40%, some will be below, some will be above, but statistically it makes no difference. If 2 rounds they are below their cap, well then they beat 60% of the field instead if 50%. And if it was one of the 8 rounds slightly above, well then 40% instead if 50%. Its insignificant because its an average. 40%x50% is 20%
  13. Oh agree. The 32s are more like the srixon z forged in my opinion, larger blade length, one of the “easier” blades to hit which is what made it so great to me.
  14. At first I thought this was a throwback to mp32 but more i look into it, its just a modified 241. Still great looking but I had my hopes up…. Dang
  15. Just an example, this past weekend playing at 6300-6400 yards, the course rating for that was likely about 72 (mens rating-par is 71). Of the full field of 131 players, approximately half (50%) of the rounds were 72 or worse. If a scratch shoots his cap (course rating), 40% of the time, the math says that (0.5x0.4)=0.2 or 20%. Id round that down conservatively to 10% just to give ladies benefit of the doubt with possible other factors.
  16. Statistically, the data indicates that. You can argue tournament pressure, yada yada, but thats nonsense IMO
  17. I dont wanna put numbers on it but i played with a juco all american once, she’d give him a run for sure….😜
  18. Well “not that good” is a relative term. To each his own.
  19. Right and thats what MOST of us in this thread have been saying all along. Doesnt mean a scratch couldnt win every now and then. Thats all I am saying.
  20. Well….not that good that they are in the 1.85%….? , thats high on the bell curve and pretty good lol
  21. Thank you! Perfectly reasonable. For a scratch in a single round against the #75 player ish, id say about 1-2 times out of ten the scratch would win at 6400. Back to 7000, depends on the scratch but the odds could increase to as much as 3 times out of 10. For a four round tourney… very little chance, like 2-3% chance. This of course an opinion but I make my opinion based on data. Just because someone says a scratch has a decent shot, people want to just go crazy defending women, like its insult. Certainly not insulting them, but I like to look at things objectively as possible.
  22. @ThinkingPlus has already broken down the difference in womens and mens course ratings/handicaps. Scroll back a few pages for it.
