  1. It might sell a few more tickets cause maybe a few adolescents ask to go to the tournament with dad… but most of the attention comes via the content and pundits talking about it. The bigger issues is the precedent it sets. Right now the tour owns players media rights for the tourney. If they give Horvat an exception they going to have to give their member the ability to do the same.
  2. Right, but the pga tour owns the content they have in YouTube. They are not going to give that to Grant Horvat for free. It also sets a precedent since they don’t even let their players/members film content. im guessing the marginal increase in views the pga tour would get from 4–16 yr olds that don’t watch pga tour golf (im guessing more young adults to adults the consumer Horvata content consume some pga tour content already) just isn’t a valuable commodity in their eyes….
  3. I’d say play whatever that lofts your comfortable with hitting. The 1 degree of loft will make zero difference in your scoring.
  4. I mean even if it’s 140 ballspeed and on target that’s massive. Gotta be a 205-210 6 iron?
  5. Yeah. Even if he’s custom grinding blanks a year is excessive, especially if you are paying him
  6. The pga tour will be fine without grant grant will be fine without the pga tour. To give up your media rights (pga tour) to a creator to film their own content ….there has to be something in it for them…. I’m sure people smarter than us have looked at this and don’t think the Horvat demographic that currently doesn’t watch the pga tour events aren’t really going to be revenue generators for the tour events after a Horvat collab. It’s likely a lopsided deal and benefits grant more than the tour.
  7. Px lz and Maybe a dgs300 soft stepped is going to be the closest you get. kbs shafts tend to be stiff mids, which is the opposite of modus 120
  8. You can change loft and lie on the grip selection page. It’s at the very top of the form , two drop downs. Atleast in the us
  9. So he’s hitting irons in the r&a video and it looks like he’s changed irons shafts. Look satin and like it’s a project x ls or io
  10. I’m pretty sure they confirmed the s1 is the new blade in the lineup moving forward
  11. you mean September of this year when the s1 launches. S1 replaces what would be mizuno pro 261
  12. For some, for some it will launch lower…. It’s all dependent on how you deliver it.
  13. The blueprint s will be similar in forgivness to the zx7 and 223. Less forgiving that i230
  14. The 150 really isn’t any more forgiving from a quality of strike required standpoint. It launches and spins a little different and sole has a different sole width which my suit an individuals dynamic loft (usually higher)at impact better
  15. I was out playing an lpga player to settle the discussion once and for all.
  16. I just played 18 with my s3s….they are small
  17. All right folks. This has been entertaining, but I’m leaving the Hardee’s ( or Carl’s Jr depending on where your from) 9 am Sunday coffee talk to the experts and statisticians in here! Have fun!
  18. I understand your point however. If you play course 100 times a year, regardless of the conditions you have an advantage. I get it you think highly of this tourney but let’s not get carried away
  19. Got it. But it didn’t answer the question (I know you can since your not a member) 20% of the field is starting with an advatage
